HistorySnappy Delivery was established in 1934 by Clare & Mary Ward. They began their business due to the high demand for a moving company in Pierre, SD. In the beginning they moved coal, milk, furniture, ice, groceries, and other requests. With the passing of Clare in 1975 Snappy Delivery become a family corporation. Mary remained active in the business for a few years and in 1981 Paul Ward became the sole proprietor of Snappy Delivery. Snappy Delivery established an incorporation in 1999. Snappy Delivery, an agent of Mayflower Transit Company, from the years of 1961-2000. Since 2000 there service continues with Mayflower as an Military Agent only (US DOT No. 125563 and ICC No. MC2934). This has helped them to better serve the public. |
